About
Rachel
Hello!
My name is Rachel Collins, PT, DPT, OCS and I am a physical therapist who focuses on individual care to help patients obtain a healthy and happy lifestyle.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. I am specialized in treating orthopedic injuries, with my patient population being prenatal and pospaart with special focus in women's health.
During my first pregnancy, I encountered low back pain and I was surprised at the limited resources for pregnant and postpartum women to help us continue a healthy and active lifestyle. Through proper core and pelvic floor exercises, I was able to maintain a normal, pain-free exercise routine. I have a passion for treating pre and postnatal patients and strive to educate and guide women so they too can experience healthy pregnancies and maintain active lifestyles.
I also believe that no woman should have to deal with or suffer through symptoms during daily life, exercise or intimacy with a partner. I feel that for so long women's issues have been pushed aside and ignored, but not with me. You come first and my goal is to help you feel confident in your body and live strong and pain free.

Why Cash-Based therapy
vs using insurance:
Many patients already have high deductibles and are paying hundreds of dollars for physical therapy services and are not even receiving one-on-one care. Therapy clinics are double- and triple-booking their staff in order to achieve their projected numbers.
Insurance can dictate what treatment a patient will receive based on what the insurance will approve for payment.
Rachel Collins PT focuses on providing one-on-one care with upfront pricing to provide all patients the optimal physical therapy experience. The ultimate goal of Rachel Collins PT is to teach clients the tools they need to excel in life and reach their optimal potential and goals.
DISCLAIMER:
Ohio is a direct access state which means that you do not need to obtain a prescription from your doctor to see a physical therapist. Rachel Collins PT uses a direct payment method that has no hidden fees or deals with insurances, which with insurance, can affect treatment plans and the limit of visits. I focus on patient impairments and needs in order to decide on plans of care. Pricing is provided upfront with no add-on fees.
